Arunachal Pradesh has been recognised as a Best Performer State in the National Startup Ranking 2025, a landmark endorsement of the state's fast-growing startup ecosystem built around the Arunachal Pradesh Innovation and Investment Park (APIIP).
The APIIP team was felicitated at the national startup event held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, chaired by the Prime Minister — a recognition that the state can hold its own alongside far larger states.

How APIIP got here
- Over 100 startups supported since 2021 through successive incubation cohorts
- Seed funding disbursed to ventures across agriculture, handicrafts, IT, tourism and food processing
- A growing share of women-led ventures in the funded portfolio
- Knowledge partnership with IIM Calcutta Innovation Park
The recognition strengthens the state's ambition to position itself as a rising hub for innovation and entrepreneurship in the North East.
